TEHRAN- TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), gained 5,855 points to 1.414 million on Tuesday.

As reported, over 6.011 billion securities worth 33.04 trillion rials (about $114 million) were traded at the TSE.

The first market’s index rose 4,028 points, and the second market’s index gained 12,601 points.

TEDPIX lost 3,000 points to 1.410 million in the past Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday).

The index had risen 131,000 points (10.21 percent) to 1.414 million points in the Iranian calendar week ended on November 11.

As reported, it was the highest weekly rise during the current Iranian calendar year (began on March 21).

TEDPIX has risen 99,638 points (7.61 percent) in the previous Iranian calendar month Aban (ended on November 21).
